PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
Redox is a clear, homogeneous, mobile, pale-purple liquid with a content of 2.4 g of 600 g / l.
MODE OF ACTION
Redox is a systemic, hormonal herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves and partly through the roots.
The herbicide causes an abnormal cell growth, inhibits the respiration and development of the weed root system. The rate of translocation of the herbicide is based on the applied dose, the size of the weeds and, in particular, the climatic conditions (humidity, temperature) before and after treatment.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
Redox is sold for use in Romania, according to the table below:
Application rate l / ha
Annually and perennially dicotyledonous weeds, sensitive to 2.4 D (Amaranthus, Chenopodium, Sinapis, Capsella,Thalspi, Cirsium)
1.0 l/ha postemergence
Redox is a recommended herbicide for controlling annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds, sensitive to 2.4 D (Amaranthus, Chenopodium, Sinapis, Capsella, Thalspi, Cirsium) from wheat and maize crops.
The wheat is applied from the breeding stage to the formation of the first internode.
The maize culture is applied postemergently, taking into account the stages of development of maize and weeds: 4 - 6 corn leaves and 2 - 4 leaves (Cirsium <10cm) in dicotyledonous weeds.
The herbicide has maximum efficacy when the treatment is applied at temperatures above 15 ° C, the dicotyledonous weeds are in the optimal phase and the optimum humidity conditions.
Application of the treatment can be accomplished with terrestrial equipments for the application of herbicides, verified and calibrated, with the recommendation that the tratemets should be done in quiet weather, in order to avoid the drift for the neighboring, sensitive crops.
